The Ontario Ministry of Environment has released Toward a Zero Waste Future --
a discussion paper that moves from EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility)
as a conceptual model to discussing the policy and practical issues that have
to be addressed to make EPR a functional and meaningful approach.
The Ministry has posted Toward a Zero Waste Future(0.3 MB)
on the Environmental Bill of Rights Registry.
The public comment period ends on January 15, 2009.
